A warm welcoming atmosphere awaits you, with home cooked food an extensive range of fine wines and a selection of cask ales. Our south facing garden, adjacent to Turkey Brook is a great place to relax over lunch, Sunday lunch is a speciality. We're neighbours of Whitewebbs Park, Woodland and Golf Course and opposite to Hilly Fields and just five minutes drive from Crews Hill. The Rose and Crown was once owned by the grandparents of Dick Turpin who owned the Inn until 1752. It's reputed that Dick Turpin used the Rose and Crown as a hide-out. The Rose and Crown is also available for small functions (up to 50 people) and is regularly used for small receptions, birthdays and funeral gatherings. © 2002-2024 21stcenturyvillage.com Ltd |
